Scraper/Digger

The Scraper/Digger was made from bees wax, wood, and clam shell. It has no decoration on it. There are fingernail marks in the wax covering the fibre or string attached to the shell. The shell might have been found near the beach.

The edge of the shell was very sharp and was most likely used for scraping out coconuts, meat or skins and maybe also used to dig in the sand for periwinkles and pippis.
